The LHBE is simply a place where locked bloggers who have informative, photo filled journeys of their lock "process" can be found. Bloggers here have positive, but real stories of their journeys, some from day 1. It is meant to be a central location where many blog stories focusing on locks, be they Traditional, Freeform, Sisterlocks, Braidlocs, Palm Roll, Two-strand Twisted, etc. are easily located. Enjoy the journey stories. Do not copy photos without owner's permission.

Napptown's Journey w/Sisterlocks
I am so glad to finally become a part of this blog! I have read so many stories and testimonies that really inspired me. I hope that my story will inspire and inform someone regarding Sisterlocks. All I can say is that, "I love my Sisterlocks!"
Stay blessed,

Curlielocs SL Journey 1 step at a time
Hello Everyone!
I'm Curlielocs and my Locaniversary is Feb 2-4, 2008. I embraced totally natural hair in September 2001. I believe that SisterLocks is just a natural progresion of my natural hair experience. I started with about 7 inches of natural but very thin hair. I've lurked every site imaginable, but love this exchange. Please feel free to visit my blog! Please make comments, add tips, and share whatever! Thanks!

Ebonygirl's Sisterlocks Experience
Hello everyone!
My name is Ebonygirl from MD and I joined the locked family (specifically Sisterlocks) on February 11, 2007. I have been natural for about 7 years now and considering getting locks over the past year. Now I've finally done it! I chose Sisterlocks because of their size and their styling versatility. So far I am loving them! Stop by my Ebonygirl blogspot to read all about my journey.

[update August 12, 2010]
Hey y'all,
I haven't updated here on the exchange since just after my install in '08, so I thought I would post one of the recent videos from my blog.
Be encouraged,
DL

Hello everyone.
I've been sisterlocked since February 3, 2008 and I'm lovin' it.
Thank you, Maryee, for this blog exchange. Each blogger is part of a wonderful support system for sisters who may be flirting with the idea of getting locs.
After 10 years of wearing my hair natural, I fell off the wagon a few years ago, but I am happy to be in back in recovery.
When I went natural the first time, locs were not a consideration. Locs didn't even cross my mind. But this go round, it didn't take me much time to realize that locs are for me.
I am being watched, as are many of us! At work and by friends and acquaintances, many who are natural, but bored with their hair. Many who are considering weave or a press and curl, just to change it up a bit...But now they are watching, waiting and hopeful!
